We developed a puncture and managed to get to this garage. They replaced the tire and their courtesy and service are great. Re-torqueing the wheel nuts 2 days later before we drove 300 miles home.

I contacted AA via their app - AJK Thompson arrived 20 minutes earlier than I expected, The mechanic was very helpful and friendly. The work was carried out the very next morning. Would definitely recommend and will use again!

We were on holiday & I noticed a rear tyre well had damage. Took IV in - a lovely bloke called chris assessed IV , ordered a tyre and arranged for IV sorting the following day. Everything went smoothly. At first he thought we might get away without a new tyre but a closer look revealed the chords were visible - Great service reasonable cost.

I have used this garage on numerous occasions for my car service and MOT's. Had my brake pads, discs and handbrake repair and replace. The customer service was excellent, no hidden costs,work completed in a timely manner and to high standard by Chris.I would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a reliable and professional garage. We were in Northumberland on holiday and needed a new wheel bearing. The garage were friendly and efficient, and although they were busy they managed to fit us in so we could safely make the trip home. I would definitely recommend them.

The garage came to rescue me within a few minutes of my request for help when my car had a flat tyre. They put on my space saver wheel and took the wheel with the punctured tyre to the garages base. I was able to get the wheel fitted with a replacement tyre early the next day. Garage were very polite throughout.

I had my car booked in for a service and 4 new tyres on the 8th June 2021. Then on the 1st I got a flat tyre which meant i could not wait for that tyre. Chris did that one on the day and the rest the following week. Great service. So helpful. Recommend them.

Fantastic team from reception to the mechanic. Very friendly and extremely helpful. Booked in at the last minute for MOT, but they were able to accommodate. The mechanic kept me upto date of any repair etc. Very reasonable costs. This was the first time using this garage, but will definitely use again. Will recommend to family and friends.

Woke up to a VERY flat tyre on my little fiat panda. Chris at AJK Thompson was immediately on the case. He advised me that despite a very large “foreign object” embedded in the tyre, they could safely repair it. He took the time to show me how the repair device would safely fix the problem. However I actually opted for a new tyre on this occasion - reasonably priced and in stock. All done and dusted in lightning speed. Many Thanks!

I use AJK Thompson for all my car needs - mot’s, servicing, tyres and general maintenance. They are always helpful, efficient and professional. I would 100% recommend them. When my truck battery recently “died” they quickly got me going again and provided me with a very reasonably priced, good quality new one - with a 3 year warranty! Having suffered a drive shaft seal failure, luckily outside my home, the garage was very prompt in sending a mechanic to diagnose the problem and arrange for my car to be transported to their workshop. Repairs carried out promptly and car was ready for collection in two days. Great service.
