Hogg M.O.T is a family run M.O.T station based in Hebburn, Tyne and Wear. The garage is managed by father and son team, Graham and Daniel Hogg. The Garage opened in 1988 and has been going from strength to strength. Providing our services to the trade and general public, we pride ourselves on our good reputation, customer care, and our high quality workmanship.

We M.O.T Cars, Vans and Motorcycles, and even post a letter or email you to let you know when your next M.O.T is due. We are hoping to introduce a text message reminder service soon.
There are different levels of servicing to choose from including our special winter service, offering customers peace of mind in the cold winter months.
We fit new tyres at very competitive rates. We undertake all aspects of vehicle repair.
We have state of the art diagnostic equipment. We like to keep up to date with all new technology. Our Mechanics are fully trained on all the latest technology and attend multiple courses on yearly basis.
Our main priority is keeping our customers happy. We are happy to give customers advice on all aspects of the up keep of their vehicle. We will talk customers through any repairs needed, and keep them fully up to date with any costs before work is carried out.

Dan and the lads are very friendly and always very helpful. I know if I ring Dan he will get my car sorted and back to me as quick as he can. He helped me out massively this week, my car broke down. I rang and he arranged to recover car and repair when he established what was wrong. Car was repaired and back to me by the end of the next day. 100% service all of the time. It is peace of mind knowing you can trust all members at Hogg MOT to get you back on the road. Thank you.

Outstanding and trustworthy. I have dealt with multiple garages over the last few months (I have no luck!) and this garage has been the most helpful, honest and speedy with everything from booking the repair to completion, couldn't recommend them enough

Took my car for an MOT. It had a few issues and the garage sorted them at a reasonable price and on the same day.

Booked car in for MOT via telephone call a young man was very polite and helpful during telephone conversation. Took car in today and again welcomed by friendly staff & received call to advise my car was ready to collect approx 2 hours later. I was really impressed at how clean and tidy the Garage was considering some of the past garages I’ve used. On returning to my car great care had been taken to protect the drivers seat and floors. Couldn’t fault anything at all and will be recommending to family friends thank you Dan Hogg & staff.

My only downside is they could be a little more pro-active with advisories. I was told my tyres were cracked and worn, but they couldn't give me a price for the job.

After my car broke down at South Shields gen hospital and having breakdown services lift car and taking to Hogg mot center they waited for me to arrive before closing for the night. They were very helpful in finding the problem after a couple of days at a good and honest price i have been owing to the garage for a number of years after a few failing at number of local garages , any ways thanks for your help and workmanship
