Some of the automotive industry’s top suppliers, distributors and technical experts will gather at Donington Park Exhibition & Conference Centre on October 6 and 7 for the third regional MECHANEX show of 2015, and AutoCare and Approved Garages will be among them.
MECHANEX – essentially a live version of PMM magazine - is an opportunity for mechanics to keep up with the latest products, techniques and automotive legislation, through a lively mix of demonstrations, seminars and exhibitor stands. It’s also completely free.
“MECHANEX offers independent garage technicians a unique opportunity to talk face-to-face to some of the biggest names in the industry,” says Ian Hart, assistant editor of PMM.
“Not only that, but they have the chance to test and feel some of the latest tools, products and technology that is available. The technical seminar timetable provides a wealth of varied subject areas, allowing visitors to pick and choose seminars tailored to their skillset and business requirements.”
Technical seminar subjects for Donington – delivered by renowned experts in their field - include hybrid and electric cars, Ecall legislation and its implications for the aftermarket, and improving diesel performance, among others (see the full list here).
“You can’t put a price on the amount of free information available to your business,” says Ian.
AutoCare and Approved Garages are regular exhibitors at the show, and AutoCare network manager Maria McCullough says MECHANEX is a chance to meet garages and show them how the networks work to help their businesses grow and develop, while also helping them to keep bang up to date in a fast changing industry.
“We always enjoy meeting garage members at MECHANEX and meeting potential new members too,” she explains.
“MECHANEX is all about garages keeping up with the latest developments in the industry which makes it a perfect opportunity for us to talk to mechanics about the wide range of technical training courses that AutoCare and Approved Garages’ members have access to throughout the year.”
Visitors to the AutoCare and Approved Garages’ stand can also take part in a Wii darts competition with the winner taking home £350 of Frank Massey E-learning DVDS.
And if all that wasn’t enough, all visitors to MECHANEX Donington get a free bacon butty and a t-shirt! Now that’s what we call a bargain.
The show is completely free to attend and tickets can be booked online, at http://www.mechanex.info/, or by calling 0844 888 8339.
